MOOQ, also known as MUMTAZ, is an online quiz and competency assessment platform operated by Universitas Darussalam Gontor. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect user information when users access and use the platform.
1. Information We Collect
When users sign in to MOOQ using Single Sign-On or Google Sign-In, we may collect basic account information, including name, email address, profile identifier, and profile image if available. We may also collect assessment-related data such as exam attempts, selected answers, scores, submission time, and certificate records.
2. How We Use Information
The information collected is used to authenticate users, provide access to available exams, record assessment results, generate exam reports, issue certificates for eligible participants, and improve the reliability of the platform.
3. Google Sign-In Data
If users choose to sign in with Google, MOOQ only uses the basic profile and email information provided by Google for authentication and account identification. We do not access, store, or process usersโ Google Drive, Gmail, Calendar, Contacts, or other Google service data.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell user data to third parties. User data may be accessed by authorized administrators or operators for academic, administrative, reporting, and assessment purposes. Data may also be disclosed if required by applicable law or institutional policy.
5. Data Storage and Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user data from unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no online system can guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
Assessment records may be retained for academic, administrative, accreditation, audit, or reporting purposes. User account data may be retained as long as the user has an active relationship with the platform or as required by institutional needs.
7. User Rights
Users may request correction or review of their personal information by contacting the platform administrator. Certain assessment records may not be deleted if they are required for academic or administrative documentation.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the updated date.
